(Hijab) It’s a warm, sunny day at the demesne. You see a woman sheathe from head to bottom, only her eyes and hands visible, carrying a watermelon to her youthful child. You ca n’t imagine how she does it — how violent it must be boiling beneath that fabric.
Wouldn’t she like to dress freely and comfortably like the man coming to her, in a short-sleeved T-shirt and films? Why is it that men aren’t needed to cover themselves as considerably as women have to in Islam? If Muslim men and women were truly equal, also why does this apparent difference live?
It really isn’t an absurd statement. To anyone on the fringe, this is exactly how it appears. Women have to wear hijab; men don’t. Women have to cover from head to bottom; men are obliged to cover from the nexus to the knee. And the argument follows that Muslim women are oppressed while men are free to dress as they like.
To anyone who may consider this apparent bias, I ask one question Do you suppose God would really favor a man over a woman? Would Allah, the Just, and the guarding Friend, ask women to do a commodity that’s burdensome and free of any price? To suppose in such a way is sacrilege, but it’s also a testament to how well you understand your faith and Allah’s orders.
A man and a woman can noway be the same reality, despite being equal in status. We look different, suppose in different ways, and respond else to the same situation. Allah has made men and women strikingly different.
One of the major differences is how we physically look and what we’re attracted to. multitudinous studies have shown that men are attracted to illustrations, while women are more attracted to audio. Naturally, the pupil will expand when it sees a commodity enjoyable and contract when it sees a commodity that isn’t enjoyable.
frequently, the pupils of men will dilate, while the pupils of women don’t dilate in response to the same enjoyable image. This essential difference articulates that men are pulled more towards illustrations than women are, and it follows that men find it more delicate to remove themselves from such a magnet.
So why is it that men aren’t needed to cover what’s haraam for a woman to look at? For case, a man doesn’t need to cover his casket, and yet, a woman must lower her aspect since it’s a sin to look at the exposed casket of a man. The situation itself testifies that a woman is stronger than a man when it comes to controlling herself.
Allah, the Bestower of Form and the Fashioner is actually recognizing the woman by giving her the capability to control herself so well. In this way, one of the reasons why Allah has obliged women to cover would be because men may not be suitable to ply the same position of control as women.
Without a hijab, a woman radiates; biologically, receptors go out to attract the contrary gender. With a hijab, still, the magnet is reduced dramatically, and it’s easier for men to go about without looking sinfully.
For case, I’m sure at one time or another, we’ve looked upon a seductive man, whether purposefully or accidentally. It must have been hard for us to look down. But try to fantasize about the task of lowering the aspect as doubly or indeed ten times harder — that is, my dear ladies, what a man has to go through.
Another question is why do women have to supplicate behind men? It can’t be that women are less staid or inimical in Allah’s eyes. It’s because of the nature of man that he’ll lose himself and come abstracted with commodities other than his prayer. Women, still, aren’t as susceptible to this temptation and can supplicate behind men.
Generally speaking, sexuality frequently occurs when a woman inclines the man toward a commodity he formerly has a vulnerability to. However, still, the man may have the desire but not the occasion to stray, If the woman is strong.
So, you see, the hijab doesn’t push down on the status of women. The hijab serves as a defensive hedge for not only the woman but also for a man, who’s innately attracted to the visual.
Just imagine that the coming time you step out without a hijab, you may be ignorant of so important going on around you. Would you be happy to know the sins you have accumulated and the silent struggles of a family who set up it so delicate to lower his aspect from you?
You may be ignorant, but Allah, the All-Aware, is not. There’s a good reason behind everything, just as there’s a good reason behind the hijab.
